During a slow couple of days last week, I went out to Brooklyn to visit my colleague Katie Martinez at her fashion company's loft studio. Katie founded Elegantees in 2010, and we met when I photographed her New York Fashion Week shows in 2022 and 2025. Elegantees mission statement is: Providing a positive sources of income that reinforces independence, and a confidence that restores lives.

Over the past couple of months, I've had the honor of assisting the beloved Broadway photographer Jenny Anderson on several shoots. I've gotten to watch her work her magic in the studio, in the basement of Broadway theaters, and in the back rooms of bars.
