Jenny Anderson: Broadway Photographer

Over the past couple of months, I've had the honor of assisting the beloved Broadway photographer Jenny Anderson on several shoots. I've gotten to watch her work her magic in the studio, in the basement of Broadway theaters, and in the back rooms of bars. I finally worked up the courage to ask if I could take some BTS shots of her working (though, like most photographers, she doesn't prefer to be in front of the camera) and I'm so glad she humored me.

Jenny is most known for her candid, intimate style of black-and-white photography backstage with Broadway stars. If you take a look at the "Process" part of my portfolio, it's not hard to see that she is one of my number one inspirations!
